The G1 mobile phone is the first phone ever created by Google (G1 = Google’s 1st).

The first thing you should notice about the G1 is its incredbily simple design. Google really placed their attention on the functionality of their device, probably because it’s the only way to compete against the iPhone and Windows Mobile (and Symbian I guess).

The G1 is thin but not the thinest by any means. Only .62 inches thick (a little more than the iPhone which is about .5″). The G1 uses the same screen resolution as the iPhone (320 x 480). The LCD screen is very crisp thanks to Google putting the pixels tighter together.

T-Mobile is one of the first carriers to deploy Google’s new mobile operating system, Google Android.  The G1 uses a super fast 528mHz processor, with 192mb RAM, 3.1 mp camera, GPS-integrated, WiFi, with a nice fat battery.
