Read the transcript and chart description
This video presents a single continuous animated Google Search Console chart set to music. There is no spoken narration. The chart follows a real, name-withheld site from April 27 to September 13, 2026. The blue line shows clicks and the purple line shows impressions. Shaded bands mark the May 2026 core update, the June 2026 spam update, and the August 2026 spam update.
The lines grow across the reporting period, with daily fluctuations. The final summary card shows 1,978 total clicks and 127,262 total impressions. Its callout reads: FOUR AND A HALF MONTHS · THREE UPDATES. 1,978 clicks. 127,262 impressions. Zero setbacks.
The site was built and written 100% with AI tools, with Domain Rating 0 and zero dofollow backlinks. It grew through all three confirmed Google updates with zero ranking setbacks. This is one anonymized case study, not a guarantee for another site.
A site written with AI does not automatically fail when Google updates its ranking systems. I tested that claim on a real, name-withheld site, built and written 100% with AI tools and launched in late April 2026. This video is the visual record of what followed.
From April 27 to September 13, 2026, the site earned 1,978 total clicks and 127,262 total impressions in Google Search Console. It grew through three confirmed Google algorithm updates with zero ranking setbacks. Domain Rating was 0, with zero dofollow backlinks. No backlink tricks explain these results.
What the chart shows
The video follows clicks and impressions on one continuous chart, rather than cutting between isolated screenshots. Clicks represent visits from Google Search. Impressions record how often a result from the site appeared in search. The totals cover the full reporting period, not one month or one update window.
The shaded update bands let you compare the site's performance with the timing of Google's rollouts. Daily values still fluctuate. Zero ranking setbacks here means the site grew through all three confirmed updates, not that every daily point was higher than the previous one.
This is an animated presentation of Search Console results, not a live dashboard. The data runs through September 13, 2026. The poster is a static frame from the video's final summary card at approximately 1 minute 58 seconds. The site's identity remains withheld throughout this case study.
Three confirmed Google updates
The rollout dates below are documented on Google's Search Status Dashboard. They are the same update windows examined in the fuller AI content article.
- May 2026 core update: May 21 to June 2, 2026. The site was still new when this broad ranking update arrived. It grew through the rollout rather than losing its early search visibility.
- June 2026 spam update: June 24 to June 26, 2026. Search performance continued to grow through this update to Google's spam detection systems.
- August 2026 spam update: August 18 to August 21, 2026. The site grew through a second spam rollout, completing three confirmed updates with zero ranking setbacks.
What this proves, and what it does not
This case study is a counterexample to the blanket claim that 100% AI-written content cannot rank or survive Google updates. This site did both, without an established backlink profile. Domain Rating is a third-party metric, not a Google score, and the zero dofollow backlink count describes this case rather than a requirement for success.
It does not prove that every AI-written site will succeed, that backlinks never matter, or that an update caused every increase on this chart. One site's results cannot isolate every ranking factor. The useful question is what the published pages do for readers, not simply which tool produced the text.

This is a new, cinematic cut of the same anonymized case study documented in AI Content Ranks on Google. That article keeps its two original videos and its earlier reporting snapshot, then examines Google's guidance, the before-and-after update comparisons, and the mechanisms behind the results. This separate video extends the reporting period through September 13, 2026.
