Fennec Coming Soon (Firefox Mobile)

Fennec has been aggressively developing the mobile version of Firefox named Fennec.   They released the first Alpha version about a month ago.   Mozilla put a hault to Fennec’s predecessor called “Minimo” because of negative feedback from its users.   Poor javascript, web formatting, and no rich-media experience caused people to turn away from Minimo.  However, the smart fellas at Mozilla know when to recognize demand and haulted that project and started over with Fennec.

Mozilla plans on releasing their 2nd Alpha version before the end of 2008, and to have a final beta version by 2009.
