Cory Doctorow Predicts an ‘Information Age’
Cory Doctorow was introduced to through Aaron Wall’s blog. Cory Doctorow is the co-editor of Boing Boing. He spoke at Google in May about how our world will soon experience what he calls the ‘Information Age’. He believes that just how the industrial revolution changed the agrarian lifestyle to a completely new one, so will this information age. The video is well worth the watch.

I bought my Nexus One Friday afternoon around 3 o’clock central time. Without hesitating, I chose the FedEx Overnight shipping option. Because Google hates me, my phone was not shipped on Friday. This means I won’t be getting my phone until Tuesday because it won’t ship until Monday. Damn this infernal wretched bastard world. I’ve [...]

Admob is a mobile advertising company I’ve been using for the last six months. It is the Adsense of mobile internet. Admob typically only approves publishers that have a mobile-compatible website (like this for example). Admob was recently acquired by Google. The FTC is now asking for more details on the acquisition, as Google is [...]
Kyle Loves Google Voice
I’m really impressed with Google’s new product, Google Voice. Originally a company called Grand Central created the online tool in 2005. Google then purchased the company in 2007 and is now relaunching it with many, many improvements. Basically, Google Voice creates an “online phone number” that can be tied to as many phone numbers that [...]

It’s not like me to dedicate an entire post for the sole purpose of complaining. Wait, yes it is. The reason I’m taking time out of my life to flame Linkshare is because of their complete disregard for the quality of their system in its entirety. It’s a mouthful, but I can write something negative [...]

Sorry for the lack of posting. I’ll be short and just take this post to recommend a book I’ve been reading, titled ‘Predictably Irrational‘ (home page). The book basically covers a wide scope of consumer and social behavior. For example, every buyer decides whether or not to purchase something by weighing the positives and negatives. [...]

Happy 10th birthday Google. It seems only yesterday when I was sitting in class and my 8th grade computer professor was teaching us how to use search engines, and recommended Google over Yahoo.

This video really speaks for itself, and I love it. My buddy showed this to me (thanks Three-J). Lyrics: Your site design is the first thing people see it should be reflective of you and the industry easy to look at with a nice navigation when you can’t find what you want it causes frustration [...]

Today marks a new day in technology. The Federal Communications Commission announced that the auction for the 700mHz wireless spectrum has ended with the closing bid of $19.6 Billion. They have yet to release the winner, but I’ll be sure to update this post as soon as it’s announced. The winner is either Verizon, AT&T, [...]
