How To Use Facebook’s ‘Flyers Pro’ Ad System

So if you didn’t know already, Facebook opened a new ad system called “Flyers Pro“, driven by PPC (pay-per-click). Used correctly, this new ad system can make you some easy cash. Their new ad system gives advertisers the ability to simply choose who they want to target their flyer ad to, and for how much per click. You have the option to target from males ages 14-19, or only target Family Guy fans by keyword insertion. Facebook’s new PPC advertising network is a pretty intelligent piece of web software.

How To Use Facebook’s Advertising System: ‘Flyers Pro’:

So I was interested in their new ad network and decided to try it out. I wanted something that was simple, fast, and had a good payout. I logged into Azoogleads and grabbed a link for a Dadamobile.com offer. I entered in a decent title, description, and image (the cell phone, see pic).

Now, I scroll down and get to select the exact kinds of people I want to see my flyer. I enter in male and female, ages 14-19, entered a few popular artists, checked all relational statuses, and all educations.

So what I’ve done here is created a flyer to target to the exact target audience for my niche (ringtones). I enter in a PPC price of $0.05 a click and my daily budget to $5.00.

I hit submit.

But wait, Facebook caught that my flyer had two problems:

Facebook Ad System

One of Facebook’s spam-reducing tricks:

1. You’re not allowed to have exclamation points in titles. In fact, Facebook only allows 1 (one) punctuation mark in the title, and it can’t be an exclamation point. Fair enough, good call Face.

2. Facebook apparently blocks azoogle affiliate links. I’m sure this cuts down spam A LOT. I mean, the ringtone industry is so abused and spammed through out the web that I don’t blame them for block affiliate links altogether.

3. Facebook doesn’t allow the word ‘ringtone’ in the flyer ads - Sorry shoemoney :).

I even tried setting up TWO redirects through kyleeggleston.com and another website I have. Facebook crawls through the link to see where the final link lands you.

I applaud Facebook’s ideas and platform, these guys are smooth sailing.

You certainly can use this ad network for your benefit if you find the right niche. I trick with this ad network is to select the correct target audience. Take it or leave it.

*EDIT* I tried to create a legitimate flyer ad, but for some reason Facebook wasn’t taking my credit cards. I have two separate cards and neither worked, so I’m pretty sure that’s Facebook’s fault. (Sorry I couldn’t show results, too)
